Brief:

Regional contractor, Jenner Group, has a strong reputation, company values and 144 year heritage. They approached Fabrick to help them create a new brand and logo that reflected their company’s current stature and modern, forward-thinking approach.

The Solution:

Updating a well-established logo can be a challenge as you instantly want to compare it to the new logo. To offset this, Fabrick analysed the existing logo to establish what worked, what didn’t and what could be improved. We wanted to maintain elements for consistency – given the long company history - whilst also updating and modernising not just the logo but the brand.

Fabrick organised for extensive internal and customer-led research to be undertaken to establish value association. The results of which helped select a new font as it needed to reflect the new brand values – professional, forward-thinking and engineered.

We then created a grid for the brand which is a device used to help identify Jenner. It signifies the professional and dynamic approach of the company and has been developed to provide a landscape which is modern and strong.

The company colours were kept to maintain consistency and a new strapline was introduced, that no longer limited geographical growth, whilst reflecting the company’s expertise and experience and futureproofing the new brand.

To ensure the new logo and brand are used correctly and consistently throughout the company, branding guidelines have been produced and implemented across Jenner.
