Brief:

Client the Hadlow Group tasked Fabrick with the creation of a brand identity for a new landmark parks complex, Betteshanger Sustainable Parks in East Kent. The branding needed to appeal to audiences including businesses and consumers as well as provide the foundations for the creation of a national destination.

The Solution:

The ambition for the parks is to become a national destination and as such a brand execution was required that would create individuality whilst reflecting the ethos on which the project is being delivered.

Fabrick carefully considered the different elements to the parks and the different audiences which led to the creation of a brand hierarchy that clearly identified the different elements within the parks.

A brand execution was then created by Fabrick which included a logo and colour palette as well as a font family. The logo and colour palette chosen complimented the Hadlow Group brand whilst at the same time created a distinct visual identity for Betteshanger County Parks.

The branding has started to be used on signage around the site and a project microsite and brochure. In time the brand will be rolled out across other collateral and mediums.

The Results:

  • Creation of a brand identity that will work across both Parks – the business park and the country park
  • A clearly identifiable brand that would stand up to national scrutiny
  • Delivering a brand set against a complex hierarchy of different elements and destination sets within one location
  • Creation of a brand that would provide national appeal
