Balfour Beatty, the UK’s largest contractor, required assistance to raise the profile of its construction arm, Balfour Beatty Construction Services and their commitment to sustainability. They retained Fabrick to provide copywriting and media relations services to help achieve this.

The Solution:

Working closely with Balfour Beatty, Fabrick invested time to understand the company’s position and expertise on the subjects of sustainability. To identify and agree key messages, we worked hard to build good relationships with Balfour Beatty’s communications team, Sustainability Director and Head of BIM.

Using our experience and contacts, Fabrick’s PR team secured a number of thought leadership & technical articles on these key topics. Our copywriting team then agreed tone of voice and style in which the articles needed to be written to meet the client’s corporate style.

Our copywriters conducted face-to-face and telephone interviews – often within short periods of time – with key personnel to obtain information. Combining this information with our extensive knowledge of the industry, we produced quality copy for a wide range of trade publications within tight timelines.
